What is allowed
Disclosure. Tell your audience that the link is an affiliate link. It is the law in the EU, the UK and the US, and an honest label converts better than a hidden one.
No brand bidding. Do not bid on Automano or its misspellings on any ad platform, and do not use our URL as a display URL, without written approval first.
Coupons and deal sites. Coupon and deal sites need written approval first and may only publish codes we issued. A code that leaks can void the commission on the sales it drives.
No self-referral. Buying through your own link earns nothing; we cancel and refund the order.
Traffic that is welcome. Content, search, social, native, newsletters and contextual placements. Not welcome: spam, unsolicited messages, toolbars, pop-unders, iframes, and setting a cookie without a click.

How much do I earn per sale?
40% of the sale price: EUR 3.16 on a EUR 7.90 report and EUR 7.16 on the EUR 17.90 three-report pack, GBP 2.36 on a GBP 5.90 UK report, USD 2.76 on a USD 6.90 US report. A reader discount code does not cut your rate: your commission is calculated on what the buyer actually pays.
Do platforms, marketplaces or agencies get a special rate?
No. One flat rate, 40%, for every partner, whether you are a one-person blog or a marketplace with a million sessions a month. There are no volume tiers and there is nothing to negotiate. The other side of that coin is speed: no contract, no minimum, no approval queue, so you can be live in the next five minutes.
How is a sale attributed to me?
A 60-day last-touch cookie. If your reader clicks someone else's link after yours, theirs wins. Attribution is written server-side into the payment at checkout, so it does not depend on the buyer's browser or on ours.
How do I know my sales are counted?
Every attributed sale appears on your private stats page within seconds of the payment, with the amount and your commission. Sales are matched at the payment record, not estimated from a pixel. If something looks missing, write to us before the 10th of the following month and we will check it against the payment.
What happens when a customer gets a refund?
Refunds are netted out of the monthly statement before payment. Your stats page shows gross sales; the statement shows the total that is actually paid.
When and how am I paid?
Monthly by bank transfer, from the 1st, with no minimum. Your statement lists every sale of the previous month. We ask for your bank details when we send the first statement.
What tax paperwork is involved?
Nothing at sign-up. We ask for your VAT or tax details along with your bank details at the first payout, and we tell you exactly what we need for your country.
Can I run paid search or paid social?
Not on our brand. Bidding on Automano or its misspellings, or using our URL as a display URL, needs written approval first. Content, social, native, newsletter and contextual placements are all welcome without asking.
Can I put a discount code on a coupon site?
Only with written approval, and only with a code we issued. Codes are named per partner. If one leaks into a coupon site, the commission on the sales it drives can be void, which is why we keep them narrow.
Can I buy through my own link?
No. A self-referral earns nothing, and we cancel and refund the order.
Do I need a minimum audience?
No. There is no traffic minimum, no follower count and no approval queue. Small, specific sites often earn more than large general ones, because the link sits exactly where a reader has a VIN in hand.
Which countries and languages does it work in?
All of them. The site covers 16 languages and 33 country markets, with prices set per market in EUR, GBP or USD, and the report covers EU, UK and US vehicles. One link works everywhere.

Is there a dashboard?

What exactly does the report contain?
Specification, official register data and EU safety recalls for cars: HistoVec in France, KBA in Germany, DVLA and MOT in the UK, RDW in the Netherlands, CEPiK in Poland, DGT in Spain and NHTSA in the US. It does not include insurance-claim damage diagrams or auction photographs. Describe it accurately and the people you send convert; oversell it and the refunds come out of both our margins.
Is there a product feed or an API?
Not today. Links and deep links are the whole integration: any page plus ?aff=your-id. If you need a feed for a marketplace, write to us and we will tell you honestly whether we can support it.
How fast can I start?
Immediately. The form gives you the ID on screen and by email within a minute, and the link works the moment you paste it.
Am I locked in?
No. There is no contract and no exclusivity. Stop linking whenever you want, and you keep the commission on sales from clicks that arrived while your link was live.
Will you pay for a placement or a sponsored post?
